This 2.27-acre core site, located at the base of the Eagle Bahn Gondola, had been the location of the old gondola building.
These two structures will be replaced with The Arrabelle at Vail Square
offering the following amenities and features:
- New, luxury RockResorts hotel
- 67 residences and penthouses ranging in size from 1,600 to 8,200 square feet.
- New European-inspired plaza with:
- New full-service, skier services facilities including lift ticket sales, equipment rentals, ski storage, lockers, ski and snowboard school, shopping and après-ski
restaurant and bar
- New dining and shopping opportunities
- New winter ice-skating plaza and entertainment venues to gather with friends and family
- Meeting spaces
- Spa amenities
- New underground parking, loading and delivery
- The new and improved skier bridge connecting Vail Mountain with The
Arrabelle at Vail Square is complete and open for use. Bridge has doubled in width from 20' to 40' and includes a separate pedestrian walkway which will be maintained in the winter.
Timeline: Construction on The Arrabelle at Vail Square is well underway. The project is expected to be complete in late 2007.
